For the most part Sandra is a self taught artist having painted sporadically over the past years in watercolour. Since February 2003 she has concentrated on soft pastel as a medium and in satisfying her creative urges, her aim is to explore the diverse ways of applying the pastel and the use of colour to deliver rewarding effects. Sandra also paints with oil and acrylic.

Sandra considers herself a realist painter with a passion for capturing the various moods of the seascape and landscape and is currently exhibiting in various judged exhibitions locally.
